The Start-up Visa (SUV) is one of Canada’s federal economic programs intended to attract international entrepreneurs to establish a business in Canada. The program allows candidates to obtain Permanent Resident Permit by starting up an innovative business that creates jobs in Canada and has the potential to compete on a global scale.
To qualify for the Start-up Visa Program, the candidate needs a Letter of Support from one or more designated organizations that can either be Venture Capital or Angel Capital or Business Incubators. Designated organizations are business groups approved to invest in or support potential start-ups through the Start-up Visa Program
